WBMSC Sub-Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) Posts Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2022:
The examination will be held in two suggestive stages viz. 1.Written Test (Objective type) & 2. Personality Test.
Written Test – The OMR-based Written Examination of 200 marks consisting of 100 multiple choices. objective type questions carrying 2 marks each will be conducted. there will be a negative marking of 1 mark each for every incorrect/ wrong answer. Question set in English and the time allowed will be 2 (two) hours.
Personality Test – 40 Marks.
Candidates about 3 times of the vacancy, will be called on merit basis for Personality Test, subject to obtaining qualifying marks @ 45% for general Candidates and @35% for S.T & P.H Candidates.

The course content of the Diploma Level Examination in Mechanical Engineering as approved by AICTE.
