Haryana Free Cycle Scheme was launched by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar with the goal of providing free cycles to workers who go to work without a means of transportation. The aim of this assistance is to make it easier and faster for workers to reach work, especially those who have to walk long distances.
Motive of Free Bicycle Scheme :
The main objective of Haryana Free Cycle Scheme is to provide financial assistance of ₹3,000 to state-registered labourers. The aim of this financial assistance is to enable workers to purchase bicycles so that they can reach their work on time and in a convenient manner. This program is an important initiative of the Haryana Government as many poor laborers often face difficulty in traveling to their far-flung places of employment.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Residents of Haryana are eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- Only workers who works in the state’s unorganized labor market are eligible to apply.
- This program only accepts applications from one member of the family.
- The registration period of the worker for Haryana Free Cycle Scheme should be one year.
- Each worker can avail the benefits of this scheme only once.
- Registered workers will be provided assistance only once in five years, maximum five times during the working period.

How to Apply Online :

Step 1 : First of all, Visit the official website of the Labor Department.
Step 2 : On the homepage, select the “HBOCW Board Beneficiary” option.
Step 3 : After that, Enter your registration number and password, & then click on the “Submit” Button.
Step 4 : After this you log in to the portal, and go to the “Schemes” section.
Step 5 : Choose the “Free Bicycle Scheme” from the available schemes.
Step 6 : Upload your 90-day work slip and fill out the necessary fields.
Step 7 : Then, Click on the “Apply Scheme” option.
